Predictive Data Analysis for Decision-Making Update

Accomplishments

  • iModules API is almost finished! This has been expedited because of our workgroup.
    • This will allow us to pull on data from our emails that is incredibly valuable such as opens, clicks, etc.
  • Planning to partner with the Stats Department to help us get over the finish line since we are getting close to the regression phase. 

Obstacles/Challenges

  • Time: should have our proof of concept by June but unlikely a full working and accurate model will be ready for showtime by June. We need to ensure this is done correctly and that the data is accurate. 
  • Getting buy in and understanding of model- we will want everyone to understand how this will help their work and make sure they understand the context of the model and what our team did to build the model.

Next Steps

  • Timeline: Goal is to have proof of concept and regression in place by June.
  • Where this will live: With the Advancement Services team in partnership with the stats department will ultimately finalize the model and steward the model
