Obstacles/Challenges
- Marketing in higher education is a relatively new discipline and there’s been little examination of different organizational structures and their strengths/weaknesses.
- Conversations about reorganizing the marketing function at institutions of higher education have historically focused on centralization, which potentially can be a costly option both monetarily and politically
Next Steps
- Proposal is ahead of original timeline
- Committee and members of the campus communications community have reviewed the proposal and we hope to have it ready for leadership review in the next few weeks!
