Project Description:
Take a strategic approach to measure engagement to better understand what matters to NC State’s constituents. We want to use a scoring model that will allow NC State to align programs and determine which activities to offer, ultimately leading to more engagement. We will use the primary categories defined by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) to measure different types of engagement: volunteer, experiential, philanthropic and communication.
Goal: Preliminary research will be complete and ready for proposal for appropriate engagement scoring tool. We will implement the tool by providing compelling evidence of its utility to all NC State stakeholders.
Project Updates:
Project Outcomes:
- Successful launch and implementation of both the Anthology Scoring Model and the CASE Alumni Engagement Metrics (AEM) survey
- Anthology Scoring Model is refreshed annually and provides insight and analysis of engagement data, as well as numerical and hierarchical engagement scores at the constituent record level.
- CASE Alumni Engagement Metrics (AEM) survey report enables NC State to measure alumni engagement across four engagement focus areas: philanthropic, volunteer, experiential, and communications, with the goal of providing a simple way to capture various types of alumni engagement on an annual basis.
- UA successfully launched the Advancement Events Calendar. The calendar allows for increased communications across colleges and units regarding logistics, strategy, and reporting of all Advancement-related events.
