Project Description:

Scholarship administration, awarding and stewardship are often grey areas in colleges and units. While we are working to standardize development officer metrics, there is significant inconsistency between college/unit development teams and their level of involvement and responsibilities related to scholarships at NC State. Developing university-wide best practices for scholarship operations will help college/unit leadership and their development teams better align their work towards revenue generation. The goal is to improve the efficiency, quality, and consistency of scholarship administration across NC State.

    Project Updates:

    • Added an affiliation group “Scholarship Administration” to the Advancement Community Directory with a brief description of the groups’ purpose.
    • Established a pilot partnership with OSFA and PCOM to centralize management of scholarship administration
