Project Description:

In a world with increased competition for philanthropic dollars, our donors demand and deserve a personalized approach to engagement and fundraising. The 2021-2022 Contemporary Philanthropic Engagement Workgroup (CPE) will review the recommendations made by Washburn & McGoldrick, LLC in their June, 2021 report, as well as those recommendations made in the final report of the 2020-2021 Contemporary Philanthropic Engagement Workgroup.

CPE will identify and select the top 12 – 15 recommendations contained within the two reports for which implementation is of highest priority and critical to success in effectively transitioning to a model of contemporary philanthropic engagement at NC State.

    Project Outcomes:

    • Onboarded new AVC of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving (AEAG).
    • Reorganization of AEAG
    • Successfully phased out membership model
    • Working through the other recommendations
