Project Description:

The success of the previous business practices roadmap projects has demonstrated the benefit of an ongoing workgroup to continue dialogue and collaboration with advancement and its business partners. The Effective Advancement Business Practices workgroup will partner to develop solutions to the obstacles and ambiguity in our business practices which can consume significant staffing resources and adversely impact the donor experience. The outcomes will positively impact donor relations and make it easier to support NC State while reducing staff effort.

Project Outcomes:

Identified technical solution to accept registration for advancement events that require deposit to a university fund.
Conversation with Cost Analysis to understand NC State’s interpretation of policies and rules
Continued conversations to map a proposed process that brings all charitable gifts to NC State or affiliated foundation through Advancement Services for processing and deposit
