Project Description: With the recent event of COVID-19, we have had to quickly adjust how we engage our stakeholders and have seen higher engagement numbers as a result. Using this momentum, develop an intentional and thoughtful strategy around engagement for the various stakeholder groups based on segmentation. Broadly, we will explore what a contemporary constituent engagement strategy looks like for NC State. We will determine how University Advancement will identify, focus on, and engage affinity groups (such as Women in Philanthropy, Black alumni, as well as many others) in efforts to involve these various constituencies in the philanthropic process through an intentional and personalized approach.
Ultimate Goal: By June 30, 2021, the workgroup will develop and finalize a set of recommendations for customized constituent engagement to drive NC State’s philanthropic growth as we seek to become a best-in-class advancement operation. The workgroup will also deliver a 21st Century Donor-centered Engagement Guide for University Advancement.
