The Office of Donor Services within the Department of Advancement Services is a central resource that fosters a collaborative relationship with our campus partners by assisting them with gift agreements, facilitating endowment reports, Distinguished Professorships and naming opportunities.
Donor Services is responsible for:
Collaborating with campus partners to ensure that gift agreements are legal, ethical and feasible while true to donor intent.
Producing endowment reports that describe the performance of all endowed funds. Fund-specific reports are prepared annually for stewardees who have endowed funds with NC State University affiliated foundations.
Facilitating naming opportunities for university properties, programs, colleges or facilities.
Maintaining comprehensive records about Distinguished Professorships, their purpose, approval and associated funds, as well as managing NCSU applications to the State of North Carolina’s Distinguished Professors Endowment Trust Fund (DPETF).
Upon request, informing campus partners about the purpose and appropriate use of gift funds, including: endowments, restricted funds, scholarships, and distinguished professorships.
